Traces of the Creative Mind |

StatementThe memory of an artist at work can be as powerful as their finished pieces. Artists usually have a specific space devoted to their practice. It is the routine of coming back to this quiet, uninterrupted place that keeps the artist’s creativity flowing, not coming out to eat or sleep. They work in this environment for hours on end until their idea has manifested itself in the project. They lose all sense of time and space. The artist’s presence, whether real or imagined, becomes embedded into the mind of anyone else that enters this place.
